Dropping a full inventory should only take around two seconds. To efficiently drop the ores as you mine, you should place the ore you plan on dropping on your ability bar. Using the 'dropmining' method, you don't have to worry about your location as you are just dropping the ores as you mine. Dropping your ores to save space as to continue mining is referred to as 'dropmining'. If banking the ores seems like too much of a hassle you can simply drop them on the ground while you are mining to bolster the rate of experience you get by a small margin. If you wish to use these ores later for Smithing or just sell them for money, you can store them in the bank in Al Kharid, by crossing the bridge to the east. Wielding a pickaxe is generally used to save space for an additional ore, although you can also add the pickaxe to your toolbelt.ДЄfter you have your desired pickaxe, head to the eastern mining area of the Lumbridge Swamp where you can start mining Copper Ore and Tin Ore. Wielding a Bronze or Iron Pickaxe does not have any Attack level requirements. If you wish to obtain a pickaxe of higher quality, you can either buy one from Nurmof's Pickaxe Shop in the Dwarven Mines or you can buy one at the Grand Exchange, located north of the western-most bank in Varrock. You should automatically have a bronze pickaxe on your toolbelt.

To start your journey on mining your way up the ranks you will first need to get the most essential tool: the pickaxe. Keep in mind at level 60 Mining, you have access to the Mining Guild.
